Overview

Samuel Wunderly is currently a lecturer of economics and is an advisor to the GT Econ Club. Creating a comfortable and inclusive environment in and outside of the classroom is what he strives for in each class every semester. He is an Atlanta local who graduated from Emory University with a Ph.D. in Economics in 2022 with his dissertation focusing on policy changes which affect worker health. Since then, he has taught at Emory University, Spelman College, and Berry College in subjects ranging from Microeconomics, Money & Banking, and Stata Lab. Aside from his strong interest in creating classroom environments which promote student success, his areas of interest include health, labor, and game theory. Sam and his wife, Liz, have two children, Atticus and Eleanor. They enjoy hiking, playing games, and spending time with their church family.
