Speak to Students
Each fall semester, Dr. David Laband teaches ECON 1001: Economics at Work. This one-credit hour course meets on Wednesday afternoons and features School of Economics alumni as guest speakers. Each guest speaks for approximately twenty minutes on their experiences at Georgia Tech, their current role, and how GT helped them to where they are today. This course is meant to show our freshmen and sophomores how much can be done with a degree in Economics and we are always looking for additional speakers. Please reach out to David Laband for further information and to volunteer.
Let us know about both your personal and professional achievements and where life has taken you after graduation. We would love to keep in touch with you! The form can be found here.
If you have something that you would like your classmates to know, the School of Economics publishes a newsletter each November and May and we love to feature our alumni. Update your information and leave us a note so that we can feature your news!
