School of Economics Merit Scholarships

The School of Economics annually awards a number of scholarships. To be eligible for one of these scholarships, a student must be a declared economics, economics and international affairs, or global economics and modern languages major and have completed 12 semester hours of economics. Selection is based on merit, defined in terms of academic performance as well as leadership and involvement in the Institute and School of Economics activities and organizations. 

Please use this Qualtrics Form for all scholarships. You only need to submit one form. You will automatically be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.

Economics and International Affairs Scholarship

A scholarship of $1,500 is awarded to two outstanding undergraduate students majoring in Economics and International Affairs (EIA) annually. Applications are due by May 15 and recipients will be notified by June 30 each year. 

ODE Scholarship

Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) members who are B.S. students majoring in ECON, EIA, or GEML are eligible to apply for up to $1,000 in tuition and fees (must join two semesters prior to graduation) or up to $500 towards tuition and fees (must join one semester prior to graduation). Applications are due by May 15 for the following Fall semester or Oct. 1 for the following Spring semester. 

Richard B. Inman, Jr. Scholarship 

This scholarship of up to $1,500 is awarded to outstanding undergraduate students majoring in economics. Applications are due by May 15 and recipients will be notified by June 30 each year.
