In Photos: School of Economics 2021 Alumni Homecoming Tailgate

The School of Economics alumni homecoming tailgate was a blast! We had fun catching up with old friends and making new ones before the Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 30. 

The hot coffee flowed, and breakfast burritos and biscuit sandwiches kept us warm on a chilly day. We also had raffle prizes, giant Jenga, and some exceptional guests: two of the first three graduates from the School of Economics in 1971!

It was a pleasure to meet Philip Cheaney and Bill Thompson, Jr. after honoring them at our virtual 2021 Distinguished Alumni Awards and sharing their memories from their time at Georgia Tech 50 years ago. Of course, it was great catching up with all the other alumni, students, and faculty who stopped by as well!

Thank you for coming out to celebrate 50 years of economics at Georgia Tech with us — we can't wait to see you next year!
