Cici McNamara joins the Georgia Tech School of Economics in the fall of 2022. Her research interests are in empirical industrial organization and health economics. Her recent work has examined the response of hospitals to financial incentives, insurers to risk selection incentives, and physicians to the introduction of new technologies. She has also studied the effect of Medicaid coverage on healthcare utilization among adults leaving prison and those with substance use disorders. Her work has been published in journals including Health Economics and the Journal of the American Medical Association. Cici received her PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022.
