  • Meet Ivan Allen College's Newest Faculty Members

    The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts attracts some of the best minds in the social sciences and humanities, scholars and practitioners eager to advance Georgia Tech's mission of educating leaders who advance technology and improve the human condition. Our newest faculty members are no exception.

    This year, we are proud to welcome 14 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 26 non-tenure-track faculty,  including Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellows and new cadre members in our ROTC programs, 10 research faculty, and three visiting faculty.

  • Ivan Allen College Hosts Nobel-winning Speaker at National Conference

    August 7, 2024

    Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and the School of Economics hosted important discussions about childhood development and poverty, including a lecture from Nobel prize-winning economist James J. Heckman, as part of the annual conference for The Society for Economic Measurement (SEM) Aug. 1-3.

  • Dean Search Begins for Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts

    Georgia Tech will begin the search for the next dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. The search committee, chaired by Dean of Libraries Leslie Sharp, was chosen through a nomination process and includes a mix of faculty, staff, students, and alumni from within the college, as well as other units from across campus.
