Jason Lindo, the Mary S. and Richard B. Inman, Jr. Professor of Economics, has been named interim associate chair of the School of Economics.
Lindo joined the School in 2023 and received the Inman Professorship in 2024. His work focuses on women’s reproductive healthcare, social media rhetoric, violent media content, and child maltreatment. He is also the director of the interdisciplinary Health Economics and Policy Innovation Collaborative (HEPIC) hosted with the School of Public Policy.
Haizheng Li, interim Chair of the School of Economics, said he and Lindo will work closely “to ensure a smooth transition for the School and to maintain its upward momentum.”
“I’m honored to support the School’s vital work during this exciting time and look forward to contributing to its continued growth and impact,” Lindo said.
