School of Economics Hosts Inaugural Atlanta/Athens Health Economists Group Event

On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, around 50 local health economists gathered for a social event at CODA Tech Square to kick off the new Atlanta/Athens Health Economists group.

Researchers and graduate students at Georgia Tech, Emory, Georgia State, University of Georgia, and the Centers for Disease Control formed the group to exchange information and promote collaboration. Georgia Tech's School of Economics hosted the inaugural event, and the group plans to have joint seminars and conferences throughout the academic year.
