Associate Professor Usha Nair-Reichert Selected for Emerging Leaders Program

Posted July 15, 2021

Associate Professor Usha Nair-Reichert will join the 2021-2022 cohort of the Emerging Leaders Program.

She was selected with 15 other faculty members from Georgia Tech, including two others from the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts: Justin B. Biddle, associate professor in the School of Public Policy, and Jenna Jordan, associate professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. They will participate in multiple leadership development activities throughout the nine-month program, such as workshops, small-group work, and a 360-degree assessment.

“I was delighted to see Usha selected for the Emerging Leaders Program,” said Laura Taylor, Professor and Chair of the School of Economics. “She has been a respected leader in the School for years, and I know she will make the most of this exciting opportunity.”

Nair-Reichert is one of the longest-serving faculty members in the School of Economics and has been at the School since 1995. Biddle joined the School of Public Policy in 2009, and Jordan joined the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs in 2012.

The Emerging Leaders Program is a collaboration between the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research, the Institute for Leadership and Social Impact, and the Office of Graduate Education and Faculty Development.

Congratulations, Dr. Nair-Reichert, on the well-deserved achievement!
