What passions, goals, or interests led you to your major?
I'm passionate about research and addressing economic inequality, which led me to major in economics. I've always been interested in understanding incentives and how policy can be designed more effectively. Through my internship in Refugee Case Management with SHECP and my work as a research assistant studying patents in India, I've developed a strong interest in international and development economics and using data-driven research to inform policy.
What are your plans for the future?
I hope to pursue a Ph.D. in Economics and a career in research. This semester, I'm excited to study abroad in Madrid to strengthen my international perspective while continuing my work as an undergraduate research assistant.
What impact do you hope to have in your community, the lives of others, or the world?
I hope to contribute research that helps address challenges like economic inequality. By supporting evidence-based policy and innovative solutions, I want to expand opportunities for marginalized communities and improve access to resources.
