What passions, goals, or interests led you to your major?
I’m passionate about addressing economic inequality, which led me to major in economics. I plan on going to law school, and my LMC classes broaden my perspective by exposing me to diverse texts and ideas.
What are your plans for the future?
This summer, I’m participating in the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty internship program, which focuses on hands-on anti-poverty work. I also plan to study abroad during my junior year.
What impact do you hope to have in your community, the lives of others, or the world?
In the future, I want to contribute to solving issues like economic inequality and access to technology. By advocating for policy changes and innovative solutions, I hope I can help create more opportunities for marginalized communities and bridge the gap in resource and technology accessibility.
