Casey Hampton is the Recruitment and Retention Director for the School of Economics. He is responsible for graduate student advisement, recruitment of students to the School of Economics, coordinating New Student Orientation (FASET) orientation activities for undergraduate and graduate students, advising undergraduate and graduate students on career, internship, resume, and job placement matters, planning and executing retention efforts for students, counseling at-risk students, as well as engaging in alumni relations outreach.
Prior to joining the School of Economics, Casey worked at Kennesaw State University in the Graduate Admissions Office as well as the School of Accountancy. He has also previously worked at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL as well as Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. Originally from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Casey has lived in Atlanta since 2013. In his spare time, Casey is an avid Florida Gators and college sports fan, enjoys playing with his two dogs, spending time at the beach, and traveling with and to see friends and family.
