Overview

David is a Ph.D. student in Economics and a researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where he studies housing markets, environmental policy, and labor market outcomes. Before entering academia, he served in the military, an experience that instilled a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and public service.

His research examines how environmental risks and public policies shape economic behavior, with a particular focus on housing markets, climate adaptation, and environmental health. He studies how households, firms, and governments respond to changing environmental risks and the implications of these responses for welfare, resilience, and public policy.
