Rachel van der Meyden

Rachel is the Marketing and Event Coordinator for the School of Economics. She responsible for developing all communication materials via both digital and print media. Utilizing social media, Rachel engages with current students, prospective students, alumni, parents, and Georgia Tech stakeholders. In addition to communication and marketing work, Rachel is responsible for all student social events and career development opportunities.
Rachel is a graduate of Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication as well as a Minor in Branding. Prior to joining the School of Economics, Rachel interned for Robert Bosch LLC, Special Olympics South Carolina, and the United States Senate. Outside of work, Rachel is an avid Clemson Football fan, a swammer (past-tense of swimmer), and she enjoys volunteering in the local area.
