Lian Zhu is currently a 2nd year Ph.D. student in the School of Economics. Before attending Georgia Tech, Lian received his Master’s degree in Applied Economics at Georgetown University in 2015 and his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics and Finance at Central University of Finance and Economics in 2014. He also serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in a multi-disciplinary program funded by NSF and conducted by Professors in Economics and Computer Science. His research interests are in Industrial Organization (IO) and Economics of Telecommunication Networks. Specifically, he is investigating the model of vertical contracting in two-sided market settings.
