Overview
Xin Gu is a sixth-year PhD student in Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. His research fields include labor/education economics, applied microeconomics/econometrics, and experimental economics focusing on peer effects, online education, and human capital measurement. He is on the job market and will be available for interviews at the ASSA 2023 conference.
Before joining Georgia Tech, he worked in Allianz Investment Management SE, Allianz Group and in the Center for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Germany. He has education background around the world, including China, Germany, Sweden and the U.S. He received his M.Sc. in Economics from University of Mannheim, Germany and B.Sc. in Management Science and Engineering from Shanghai University, China.
